The B-52′s album Detour Through Your Mind, has backwards or messages that poke fun at the very controversy or putting secret messages encrypted in songs at different speeds. The song ‘Loser’ by ‘Beck’ has other messages in it, if played backwards. The Eurythmics song ‘The City that never sleeps’ has several backward messages in it. The band ‘Grim Reaper’ has the words ‘See you in Hell’ encrypted in ‘Final Scream’. The band Iron Maiden, has fueled the controversy for years, by publicly encrypting secret messages in many of their songs. The ‘Piece of Mind’ album contains many such songs. The songs, The Trooper and Still Life, are said to have disturbing messages in them. The rapper Jay Z has denied though only half heartedly secret messages in his song, ‘Lucifer’. Another culprit of the subliminal messages is the band ‘Judas Priest’. Several songs in the ‘Love Bites’ album have secret messages by the bands own admission. The song ‘Crogan’ by ‘KISS’ has rather unflattering secret messages about the singer Billy Crogan of the Smashing Pumpkins.
